Community
Youth & Family
At Congregation Beth Tikvah, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, nurturing space where young families and children can deepen their Jewish connections and build meaningful relationships with others in our community.
We celebrate every family’s unique journey and provide engaging programs tailored to families with children of all ages and backgrounds.
Tikvah Tots
Celebrating Shabbat Together
For families with children in second grade and younger, Tikvah Tots offers a joyful, family-friendly Shabbat experience.
Join Rabbi Kellner and Director of Education Morissa Freiberg, RJE for singing, Shabbat storytelling,
and creative arts. Each session concludes with a kid-friendly Shabbat dinner, allowing families to build cherished memories and embrace the joy of Jewish traditions.
Parent-Tot Classes
Our Parent-Tot program is perfect for little ones ages 2–4 and their caregivers.
Through music, storytelling, and hands-on activities, children take their first steps in exploring Jewish traditions in a warm and supportive environment.
Pj Library
In partnership with PJ Library, Beth Tikvah brings Jewish learning to life for children under 6.
Plus, PJ Library provides free books and music for children ages 6 months to 8 years, encouraging Jewish discovery and family bonding right at home.
A Place for ALL Families
At Beth Tikvah, we embrace families from diverse backgrounds. Whether you’re a multifaith family, LGBTQ+ family, or simply new to Jewish traditions, you’ll find a community here that values inclusion, respect, and connection.
Interfaith families are welcomed with open arms, with opportunities for all parents and grandparents—regardless of faith—to actively engage in congregational life.
From special family events to interactive programming, our goal is to empower families with the tools to live vibrant Jewish lives while forming deep connections with other congregants and the broader Jewish community.
