Legacy Circle & Foundation
Ensuring Our Future

“I did not find the world desolate when I entered it, and as my ancestors planted for me, so do I plant for future generations.”

– Talmud Ta’anit 23a

Leave a Legacy, Build a Future

For generations, Congregation Beth Tikvah has thrived thanks to the generosity and vision of those who came before us. Legacy giving gives each of us an opportunity to do the same for generations we may never meet.

A legacy gift is a current or future charitable commitment intended to help strengthen Beth Tikvah for the long term. It can take many forms, including a gift through a will or trust, retirement account, life insurance policy, appreciated assets, or another charitable-planning strategy.

The Beth Tikvah Legacy Circle is the community of individuals and families who have made a commitment to include Beth Tikvah in their long-term charitable plans or otherwise create a lasting legacy for the congregation.

Beth Tikvah Foundation & Endowments:
Lasting Gifts for Future Generations

The Beth Tikvah Foundation helps strengthen Congregation Beth Tikvah for the long term through endowments.

An endowment is a long-term fund. Gifts to an endowment are invested and managed with the goal of providing support to Beth Tikvah over time while preserving resources for future generations.

Some endowments support Beth Tikvah broadly. Others support particular areas of synagogue life that are meaningful to donors, including Jewish education, youth engagement, music, security, building needs, community outreach, scholarships, and more.

Why Endowments Matter

How Endowments Work

Some charitable gifts may also have tax or financial-planning considerations. Because everyone’s circumstances are different, we encourage you to speak with your attorney, tax professional, or financial advisor about what is appropriate for you.

By investing in Beth Tikvah’s future, you ensure that Jewish life, education, and traditions continue to thrive.

Be a Part of Beth Tikvah’s Future

You do not need to know exactly what kind of gift you want to make before reaching out.

Whether you have already included Beth Tikvah in your plans, are considering a future legacy gift, would like to support an existing endowment, are interested in creating one, or simply want to learn more, start with a conversation.

Beth Tikvah can help you understand the possibilities and connect what matters to you with the future of our congregation.
