Family Education at Beth Tikvah
Our Education Department continually develops programming that gives families the tools and support to deepen their Jewish knowledge and practices, meeting them wherever they are on their journey.
From experiential learning opportunities to grade-level family education days during Religious School, our programs encourage growth and engagement at every stage.
Tikvah Tots
Tikvah Tots is our monthly family education experience tailored for families with children in second grade and younger as well as their siblings.
Join Rabbi Rick Kellner and Director of Education Morissa Freiberg, RJE to celebrate Shabbat through singing, storytelling, and creative art projects.
Each gathering concludes with a special, kid-friendly Shabbat dinner, creating joyful and meaningful Shabbat memories for the entire family.
PJ Library
In partnership with PJ Library, Beth Tikvah invites families to PJ Pals—a program perfect for children 6 and under.
PJ Library is a gift to our community, funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, Abigail and Leslie Wexner, the Jewish Federation of Columbus, and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus.
Through PJ Library, families with children ages 6 months to 8 years receive free monthly books or CDs that foster Jewish learning and exploration.
